She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald Bales. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Eddie; her daughter Kimberly Womack and her husband Russell of Kettering; her sister Peggy Schneider and numerous other relatives. She was a 1965 graduate of Colonel White High School, a member of Shamrock Athletic Club Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. BRADRICK, Thomas H. 79, of Centerville, passed away on July 2, 2009. He was born May 16, 1930 in Ashland, KY, to Thomas & Harriet (Whistler) Bradrick. Preceded in death by his parents, beloved step-daughter, Kathryn Smith, and his aunt & uncle, Spencer and Marjora Shank. He is survived by his adoring wife, Anne, his son, David Bradrick & wife, Gerilynn, daughter, Janey Moore & husband, Lance, step-daughter, Kristen Dotson & husband, Mark, step-son, Bart Kaericher & wife, Kelly, 9 grandchildren, Chase & Cole Moore, Allison Smith, Tyler, Savannah & Kylee Dotson, Alexa & Dalton Bradrick and Kendra Kaericher. Tom graduated from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in education and art, and received his Masters in Teaching with a major in Art from Miami University. He retired from teaching in the Dayton Public School System where he taught art for 34 years, 31 of those at Colonel White High School. He received the Dayton Teacher of the Year Award and Outstanding Art Teacher Award from the State of Ohio among many other awards throughout the years. He served as Art Director at Camp Kern and Art Supervisor for Montgomery County Playgrounds as his summer jobs. After retiring, he volunteered at Hithergreen Senior Center as their ceramics instructor. After his USAF Active Duty Service, he went into the Air Force Reserves, where he was Commander of the 4th Supply Squadron Mobile Support, WPAFB, Ohio. He was proud that his squadron received the Nation's Outstanding Air Force Reserve United Award in 1974. He was an artist and juror in the art community of Dayton and a member of DVAC, DSPS and the Cincinnati Art Club. He won numerous awards through the years for his paintings and ceramic pottery. His ceramic pieces, "Annie Pots" and other creations were inspired by nature. As a member of the Centerville Arts Commission, he was chairman for two terms. A member of the Fairhaven Church, he believed "Trust in the Lord." A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Rd., Centerville, OH 45459. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Imagine 3:20 at Fairhaven Church. |

CAMPBELL SR., Earl Keith age 65, of Fairborn, passed away on October 29, 2012. He was born on August 31, 1947 in Dayton to the late Earl and Mary Campbell. In addition to his parents, Earl Keith was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Janet Campbell. Earl Keith is survived by his three children, Keith Campbell, Kit Campbell and Katie (Tony Palacios) Campbell; two grandchildren, Jackelyn Campbell and Camren Palacios; sister, Cheryl (Robert) Lucas; nephew, Brooks Brigner; other family members and close friends. Earl Keith honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He retired from Sheet Metal Workers Local 24. FRANK Gregory Paul Frank, artist extraordinaire, passed away on February 29, 2012. He was 65 and is survived by his daughter Charly Borenstein-Regueira, son Jesse Kline, his grandchildren: Halley Borenstein, Yves Vibar Kline and Xian Vibar Kline, and son-in-law Rey Regueira. Gregory was a prolific artist for nearly 50 years. Painter, ceramicist, silver smith, furniture maker, costume designer and decorator, Greg worked in Yellow Springs OH, Woodstock NY, New York City, and New Orleans. He called New Orleans home for the last 20 years, and was best known for Gregory's Studio of Wonder, which was a New Orleans treasure until it was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Beloved by his family and dear friends, Gregory will remain with his community through his art, love, and unforgettable laugh. Gregory's family plans to create a catalogue of his life's work. She is also survived by Christopher Morris and his daughter Emma Morris and many more friends and family. She was preceded in death by her oldest child Michael Thiel. YOU CAN FILL IN THE BLANKS WITH WHAT MISCHIEF WE FOUR COULD DEVELOP WITH TRANSPORTATION. IN THE NINETIES I MADE CONTACT WITH BO AGAIN IN SAN FRANCISCO VIA INSTANT MESSAGING ON AOL, YEH TECHNOLOGY. WE CONVERSED FREQUENTLY THIS WAY AND THIS IS WHERE I CAME TO KNOW BO AS AN ADULT AND OF HIS LIFE IN S.F. AS A CAMERMAN WITH ABC TV AS WELL AS HIS CHILDREN AND THEIR STRUGGLE TO CARE FOR HIM IN HIS ILLNESS. BO HAD CANCER. IT HAD SPREAD INTO HIS SPINE AND CLAIMED HIS LIFE AND ANOTHER CLASSMATE IS GONE. Mike worked for many years as manager of Cadillac Jacks Sports Bar in Fairborn. He was an Executive Chef in the American Culinary Federation; a 1966 graduate of Colonel White High School; past president of the Miami Valley Chefs Association and co-founder of the Jitters Rock Band. Do you know what she would think she accomplished? Jo was proud of the great marriage she shared with her husband and of her two daughters that had grown into happy adults.
Interests/Hobbies: Interior designing, antique collecting, reading
Memorable Trips/Job Assignments/Activities: Assistant Manager of the district Election Polls, Staffed the local food pantry
Do you think that her job/life is where she thought it would be when she was in high school? No
Why/why not? I think her life was much more special than she could have imagined it possible in high school. In 1978 when she was 32 years old Jo was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It had spread throughout her lungs and chest as well as in her esophagus paralyzing her vocal cords so she could not speak. She was given 3 weeks to live. The prayer of her heart was that God would allow her to live to raise her daughters who were 6 and 3 years old. God answered her prayer and she was completely healed with no signs of cancer and her vocal cords healing so that she could speak again. She then traveled around the country with her husband sharing her testimony in his ministry.
Do you think if she could start over, she would /would not make the same choices she did the first time around? Yes
What do you think she would have done differently? No, she was very happy but especially thankful for her life.
Is there any final thought that you would like to share with us? I was 10 years younger than my sister and don’t remember much of her high school days. She was shy and maybe many of you never got to know her. Her family would like her to be remembered for the soft-spoken, gentle heart that she was. She was a very devoted wife to her husband of 31 years and was a friend to every person she came in contact with. She lived to raise both her daughters, see one married and the other graduate from college to pursue a Nursing career. She even got to meet and spend 2 years with her first grandchild. Her life was so full and she was very fulfilled. We miss her every day and at the same time are so thankful for all the years she was with us.
Please share the circumstances of her passing: Jo became weak and began getting sick frequently in 2000. She was admitted to the hospital the last week of August for kidney failure and developed DIC which caused her death on September 1, 2000.

MARTIN, Judith M. "Judi" age 65, of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012. She was born January 19, 1947 in Dayton, OH, to the late Floyd and Dolores Patterson. Judi was the bar maid at Need1More for over 35 years. She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Martin; grandchildren, I'Kera, Treyshawn and Kendall; two sisters, Jo Ann Lemanski and Jerri Neff; her other kid, Christina Tester; very special friend, Diana Burns; and numerous other relatives and friends. College And Other Education: Mike graduated from Wright State with a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Then he received his Masters Degree in Social Work from Ohio State.
Interests/Hobbies: Mike enjoyed reading trivia books and watching Television to relax.
Accomplishments/Achievements: To me a major accomplishment of Mike's was to complete his masters Degree after having his right leg amputated above the knee. He would work all day, then drive to Columbus to attend classes, then getting home around 2am. He did this to make our life better. Also, the last six years of his life, Mike was unable to work, which was devastating for him. He handled the situation with such spirit that he was an inspiration to those around him. He was quite a man!
Do you think that he accomplished in his life/job what he thought he would be when he was in high school? I think Mike accomplished much more than he ever thought he would. Life played some tricks on him, but he made the most of each situation.
Is there any final thought that you would like to share with us? Mike had the wonderful ability to get along with most people so much, that even people he just met would tell him their life story. After his death, I learned just how many lives he had touched. Mike made the most of his fifty-four years.

What do you think he would have done differently? We agreed that we would have done many things differently, but didn’t really live with regrets. .. Just things like job choices and home choices. I’m certain he would have made the same marriage choice!

Is there any final thought that you would like to share with us? George and I didn’t spend much time these last few years "making plans", but instead were living each day pretty fully. We felt that while many are planning for the future, God is chuckling.
George died suddenly of an apparent heart attack, losing consciousness while cleaning leaves from the gutters of our house, after a full day working, and about a month after "beating" cancer the second time in 4 years. Until that afternoon, he was never diagnosed with heart disease.
Because he was pretty quiet in school (except with his friends/family away from school), most of you don’t know how smart and funny he was. He was a loyal friend, husband and uncle who entertained everyone with whom he spent time. George Stories are legend in our family and circle of friends.
We are very grateful that you would take the time to share this information about your loved one with those of us who shared four or more important years with him.

STEWART, Mary Catherine Age 103 of Dayton, OH, passed away Aug 9. Born Christmas Eve 1907 in Chicago, IL to George B. F. Stewart & Mary Etta Needles, she is survived by her goddaughter Julia Victor and nieces through Virginia M. Carter: Vivian L. Victor (Paul, Nathaniel), Emily Carter Mitchell and Olivia Carter Pokras. Her take-charge personality touched the lives of thousands in the Dayton Public Schools, especially Cornell Heights. She enjoyed her membership with the Delta Kappa Gamma Pi Chapter as its last surviving charter member, Central Christian Church of Kettering as its longest member of 90 years, Dayton Women's Club, and Soroptomists International. Her family are eternally grateful to her dear caregivers: Mary mom & daughter, Arlene, Angela, Barb, Nancy, Neva, Kathleen, Kathryn, Reshauna, Zeus; nurses Tina, Joellen, Judy, Rachael; the Sr. Independence Hospice team; and the many faithful who sent cards over the years. A WALTERS, Carol C. Age 92, of Dayton, passed away March 29, 2013 in Hospitality House nursing home in Massillon Ohio. She was born July 25, 1920 in Washington DC., daughter to the late Harold and Emma (Brumbaugh) Clayton. Carol graduated from Capital University in Columbus Ohio. She taught music for 30 years at Fairview and Colonel White High school and Northmont Junior High. She faithfully served the Lord as an active member of Mack Memorial Church of the Brethren, where she was the organist/choir director for 45 years. She has an extensive history of volunteer work, career achievements, and involvement in professional activities. These include being director of both the Dayton Music Club Chorus and Downtown Dayton Chiming Seniors hand bell choir, serving as president of the Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association and volunteering at the Veterans Administration. She was passionate about family, teaching and making music, composing, acquiring and sharing knowledge, traveling the world, volunteering, and spending quality time with her two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and an overall wonderful person. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Darwin Bright in 1967, second husband, Walter Gillette in 1982, third husband, Brooks Walters in 2007, and her sister Margaret (Peg) Lindeman. She is survived by two sons, Paul Bright of Canton, Dennis Bright of Dayton; two grandchildren, Melanie McGinnis of Canton, Jeremy Bright of Wadsworth, and three great grandchildren, Autumn, Miranda, and Daniel. Sandra Seals Brock, 66, passed away from COPD on March 3, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born April 27, 1947 to Bessie Ramsey and Ben Seals. She attended Colonel White High School with the Class of 1965. She later enrolled at Sinclair Community College where she completed an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1989. She worked several years as a registered nurse before recently retiring. She was previously married to Gene Brock of Trotwood, Ohio, and had two sons, Michael and David Brock. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Gloria. She is survived by her sons, brother Ronnie, as well as sisters Cathy, Diane, Jackie, and Jeanne. Shortly before her death, Sandra chose to donate her body to the OSU Division of Anatomy Body Donation Program, with cremation at a later date.
